When we first conceived Tenuta Montirò, we had a clear vision: to create a place for those who feel the need to slow down, to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with the land and nature.
Montirò: an estate nestled within five hectares of unspoilt countryside, with an avenue of olive trees leading guests to a small hamlet of stone houses, inspired by the ancient pajare, a symbol of the rural tradition of Salento.
Here, traditional Trani stone blends with design details that make our 38 rooms modern, welcoming and unique: doors and windows in shades of the sea, clean lines, warm colours, crisp white walls and natural fabrics make our suites the ideal retreat in which to unwind and rediscover your balance. The pergola, with its tuff columns and reed-woven roof, lends the setting a rustic and distinctive charm and provides the perfect spot to enjoy the shade during the heat of the early afternoon.
